The best sighting in the camp over the last few months was a leopard sighting outside one of the tents which was spotted by a honeymoon couple from New York. At one time lions were found from Greece through the Middle East, Africa to the North of India. Today they are confined to the sub-Saharan region of Africa - in the grasslands, savannahs and dense woodlands of Kenya, Zambia, South Africa and Botswana.
